Brand Marketing Manager
General Purpose
The Brand Marketing Manager is to lead, plan, and execute the marketing direction for discrete brands and their products within the organization. Key duties/responsibilities of Brand Marketing Manager:
- Drive product brand activities and initiatives
- Brand and product marketing strategy and launch strategy development, coordination and execution (including PR planning)
- Messaging strategy development (by audience, LOB, markets)
- Lead brand strategy by ensuring it aligns with company vision and promise. Drive strategic changes in brand position as it evolves
- Create and lead marketing plans leveraging resources of Media+Marketing, PR and B2B and B2C marketing teams
- Brand and product identity development and brand guidelines development/maintenance in conjunction with the company CEO and Product Managers
- Brand architecture and product naming strategy, provide input into product naming in conjunction with cross functional inputs
- Maintain brand integrity and compliance across product lines, marketing materials and all other internal and external communication as it pertains to our brands
- Be the product and brand evangelist both internally and externally
- Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, other brand marketing managers, creative, design, products teams, PR, and operations to execute specific marketing plans
- Website and content strategy input for your brand and product segment
- Coordinate management of content for external web sites and messaging support for external sites
- Engage with Head of Marketing and the CEO on overall brand product strategy
- Set and track brand health metrics and drive the development of brand tracking across business
- Oversee the overall marketing planning calendar
- Special brand and communications projects
- Monitor competitive activities and strategic response to market movements
- Lead brand and corporate marketing presentations at key sales, trade shows, events, marketing corporate presentations as necessary
Education and Experience
- Business or media technology marketing-related degree or equivalent professional experience
- Experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies
- Technical and product marketing skills
- Proven experience in customer and market research
- Relevant product and industry knowledge
- Experience with relevant products and media and music technologies
- Experience in music technology, professional audio, DJ technology, digital audio, music production and post production, and sound design
- Experience in professional audio and digital musical instrument retail and sales a plus
